A single invitation and an Event are two different things, and the difference is all about whether you want to track who is coming.
A single invitation (not tracked)
A one-off personalised invitation is a flat fee you can share with everyone. Recipients reply to you directly, by email or message, so there is no guest list to manage. It is perfect when you just want a beautiful invite and you are happy to count heads yourself.
An Event (live guest list + RSVP tracking)
When you want to see who is coming in one place, create an Event. On top of your invitation you get:
- A shareable RSVP link for guests. They open it, tap yes or no, and (if you ask for them) leave details like how many are coming or dietary notes.
- A live guest list that updates as replies come in, so you always know your numbers.
- One place to manage everyone, rather than chasing replies across texts and emails.
Guests do not need an account, and they can update their answer if their plans change.
Pricing
Events are priced by how many guests you expect, starting at around £9.99 for a small gathering and scaling up for larger guest counts. The current tiers and what each includes are always on the pricing page.
Which should I choose?
- Just want a lovely invite to send round? A single invitation is all you need.
- Need to know your final numbers? Choose an Event for the guest list and RSVP tracking.
