A quarter of a century is an achievement worth a card that goes beyond roses on a white background.

Twenty-five years of marriage is a milestone that most couples didn't fully grasp they were building toward when they were standing at the altar in the mid-nineties. A silver wedding anniversary deserves recognition that matches the scale of the achievement - not a card from a garage forecourt.
A personalised silver anniversary card from The Card Genie is built around a photograph of the couple. You upload it - their wedding photo from 1999 or a current photo - and describe what you want the design to say. Silver tones, obviously, but more than that: the specific place, the twenty-five years of evidence, the story that only the people in it could write.
For a silver anniversary, the design language tends to lean into the milestone: silver and white colour palette, the number 25 or 'XXV' in Roman numerals, both names and the original wedding year. But the AI can go wherever the prompt points - a watercolour of the garden they have spent twenty-five years building, a portrait that references the era they married in and the people they became.
Printed cards on 350gsm stock are the right choice for a silver anniversary. The printed version tends to be kept alongside the wedding album. Order it with a week to spare - it's not a milestone to leave to the day before.

Wedding anniversaries have traditional material associations going back to the medieval period. Silver is associated with 25 years because it represents a rare and valuable thing - like the marriage that has lasted a quarter-century. The association is entirely traditional but widely observed in the UK, with silver gifts and silver-themed celebrations.
Reference the twenty-five years specifically. Not 'here's to many more' but what the twenty-five years actually contained - the houses, the children, the hard years and the good ones, the way they are different people from who they were at the altar and still recognisably the couple who showed up that day. For a card from one partner to the other, one honest sentence about what the marriage has been is worth more than any amount of generic sentiment.
Yes - you don't need to be one of the couple to give an anniversary card. Upload a photo of the couple from your own collection and describe what you want the design to convey. The AI doesn't know whether the sender is the spouse or the adult child - the prompt directs the tone entirely.
Not directly on this page, but the anniversary party invite occasion in our wizard covers exactly this. Select 'Anniversary party invite' as the occasion, describe the silver anniversary theme, and the AI will design accordingly.
Card design from £1.79 for a static image. Printed cards including first-class UK postage come to around £4.49 to £6.99. For a 25-year milestone, the printed card is the right investment - it will be kept for at least the next 25 years.
